Criminal Record Check Information Evening

Dear C.P. Blakely Parents/Guardians:

If you are planning on volunteering at C.P. Blakely School for the 2025-2026 school year we require a current criminal record check. Criminal Record checks are valid for 3 years from the date of issue. 

If you require a volunteer criminal record check, please take the attached CESD Volunteer letter to the Information Evening at the NexSource Centre. Criminal Record Check for Volunteering FORM.pdf 

On September 4^th  (4:30pm-7:30pm) the Sylvan Lake Detachment will once again be partnering with the Town of Sylvan Lake information evening, and will be on site at the NexSource centre to gather criminal record checks.

The Sylvan Lake RCMP attempt to assist the schools in having their parents complete their criminal record checks early in the year so that when volunteer opportunities arise the schools have the necessary documents they require.

This is a once a year event that is completed outside of regular business hours to further assist parents who work during the day. (4:30 PM-7:30 PM)

Join the Sylvan Lake RCMP administration team for:
Criminal Record Check Night at the NexSource Centre (multi-purpose room)

The Sylvan Lake RCMP administration team will be on-site assisting anyone
who resides in the Sylvan Lake RCMP detachment jurisdiction with criminal record checks for employment or volunteer purposes.

What to Bring:  You will require 2 pieces of government-issued ID such as (but not limited to):

 Driver’s license
 Military ID card
 Passport

 Government photo ID card

 Health card
 Permanent Residency Card
 Firearms license
 Certficate of Indian Status card
