Paintin' It Red.

    In December, Mayor Sue Samson put forward a challenge to the schools of Sylvan Lake to “paint” their classrooms red to show support for the Olympics and the Canadian athletes that are competing.  C.P.  Blakely took up the challenge, and on January 15^th classes did a number of different things to demonstrate Olympic spirit.  There was face painting, scenes from the Olympics, a school-wide torch run and (due to the renovations) some classes actually painted their classrooms red.
